Cambodia Camp

This program offers students an opportunity to volunteer their time and talents to children in disadvantaged countries around the world. They can also serve as teaching assistants and gain valuable experience by sharing their knowledge with children in third world countries.

Volunteers will learn how to contribute their various talents to those less fortunate than themselves.   Volunteers will work as teaching assistants in their area of interest. They will have the experience of teaching students in third world countries
     
CULTURE EXPERIENCE   CERTIFICATE

Volunteers will leave this experience with a whole new perspective on life and themselves.   Volunteers are awarded certificates for completing 60-100 hours of either community service or teaching internships.
     
Program Outline
Location Bethel Institute Campus, Cambodia
Prey Chhor District, Kampong Cham Province
Term Every Summer Vacation (2 weeks)
Participants Up to 20 Students
Eligibility Grades 9~12 students with English language background
( at least 1 year study in the U.S. or English-speaking countries
Service Hours Monday Friday (9am 5pm) - Total of 80 hours
Fee US $1,500 (Not including airfare)
