application process

All required application forms must be completed and received with $100.00 non-refundable application fee. The required application documents include:

  • Common Application with general information
  • Student Personal Essay
  • One recommendation from the student’s current Principal, English Teacher or Math Teacher
  • (Recommendation should provide the teacher’s correct contact information)

  • Official transcript for the previous two years9th & 10th grade or three years for 12th grade

  • English Proficiency Test : Official SLEP, TOEFL, TOEFL Junior, SSAT, ISEE or ELTiS Test Score Report
  • Copy of Passport
  • Copy of Bank Statement (Certificate of Deposit for more than $40,000 balance)
  • Copy of Immunization Record
  • Copy of Birth Certificate (This is needed only if student is attending Holy Cross High School.)

Letter of Acceptance


Once the student has been accepted, the parents must send the following to the International Student Admissions Officer:

  • Signed Enrollment Contract
  • Deposit of 20% of total international student program fee and $30 bank wire transfer fee
  • NOTE :혻The I-20 will be requested only after the student deposit has been received.혻It is also important to note that the deposit is nonrefundable unless the student’s VISA application has been rejected.혻In the event that the Visa has been rejected, the student must provide proof of the rejection letter and return the original I-20. When the International Student Coordinator has received both documents, the deposit and fees paid will be refunded minus the $350.00 registration fee.


When the "above mentioned" items have been received, the International Student Coordinator will mail the following contents to the student or Agency:

  • Official Acceptance Letter
  • Visa Supporting Letter
  • Original I-20


Once the International Student Coordinator receives the remaining balance of the international student program fees + $30 bank wire transfer fee, the choices for a Host Family will be given and the student may choose his or her own host family.


Notify the International Student Coordinator immediately if the student obtains U.S. F1 Visa.


Notify the International Student Coordinator of the student’s arrival information along with a detailed flight itinerary once the flight has been confirmed.혻The student must arrive at the closest airport to the school he/she will be attending.


Fill out all the registration forms along with the physical exam and immunization form. These forms must be submitted to the International Student Coordinator before the student arrives.
