SSAT (Secondary School Admission Test)

An admissions test administered by the Secondary School Admission Test Board (SSATB) to students in grades 5-11 to help determine placement into independent or private junior high and high schools

 

  • Held 8 times each year
  • NOT related to the SAT Reasoning test and NOT administered by the College Board.
  • Average SSAT Score is taken from small sample of students every year.
    As a result scores MAY fluctuate; the overall program & strength of student body remains consistent, however.
  • A school's average SSAT score is NOT the minimum acceptance score.
  • 80 Percentile and above score is good enough.
  • Most top US applicants have 2100 and above.
